Bye 2008~

Came here especially to do a final blog in 2008!
Wanna change my blogskin bt it is so damm complicated + time consuming...

Overcoming Hatred

Came across this interesting article...
For those who are hating someone, perhaps it is time to just release and let your hatred float away...
For those who have hated someone, maybe after reading this you will feel better and not think tt you are simply just been stupid and weak to stop hating.

Ans:

First you realize that its a waste of your time and energy. Then you realize that the hatred isn't affecting the people you hate at all. The only person who is suffering from it is you, so you are basically letting the people you hate make your life even more miserable. Next you realize that by hating people, you are letting them control what and how you think and behave.


Finally you come to the conclusion that hating people is a waste of time and you have better things to do than waste your time thinking about people who you hate. Life is too short. Start enjoying your life and make sure that you aren't acting the same way as the people you hate. My dad always said you can learn something from everyone...even if it is how NOT to act.

Stop hating them, doesn't mean you are willing to forgive and forget the emotional or physical traumas they have put you through. Instead, it is just a way to start loving yourself by not adding more scars to your wounded body.

i'm back again!

Been to Malaysia for the past days.. Back to Sg again!
Jus a nice relaxing holiday @ my Wai Po's house...
Simply dun understand, why everytime i am the only one who suffered the most mosquitos bites! Even baby has less bites den me!!!! Ok.. maybe she was all wrapped up. Bt hey i am wearing long pants too lei. Unfair! Now i am itching all over!
Any fast remedies?
We celebrated 3 Dec's babies bday too. My cousin drove me to buy cakes & stuff. Expected him to drive like Malayian Ah Beng. Haha~ Bt he didnt.. In fact, his only flaw is tt he brake so slow. I was like ahhh~ brake brake brAKEEEEEE!
Then went shopping abit.. Bt didnt buy anything much. Jus a pair of sunglasses, which i think is a bit too big &man-ish for me now. Nvm.. i still ♥ it. Haha!
Oh yea~ the only 'thrill' experience is when i'm behind the wheels. I really dun get it lo~ Everytime it's my turn to drive, the road conditions become so 'bad'.
First, there were dead animals everywhere. On top of keeping an eye on the road, i am keeping an eye on avoiding those dead bodies too.
Second, we saw a police car ahead. Then the policeman put his hand out and waved. I tot he was asking me to stop. Bt hey.. i only drove at 140km/hr for a few seconds only before my dad warned me bout speeding. I was like, 'OMG~ Not tt unlucky ba!' Luckily he was beckoning the other car and not me to stop. So whew!
(Yea~ with my dad round' i cant even drive faster... Not tt i want to drive faster la.. Bt aiyo... on malaysian highway, it's easy to speed. Bt with someone constantly nagged at me the moment i went up to 100km/hr, it's super irritating! Excuse me! Who drove at 100km/hr on Malaysian highway???)
Third, on the way back suddenly there were alot of slow moving vehicles on the road. And hey, all these vehicles didnt appear when my dad was taking the wheels lo! So i was zooming off to right lane to overtake, den back to left lane every few minutes. I was so nervous, i think my dad also scared of my driving skills. Haha~ Cos all the vehicles coming up in the right lane, drove at least 130km/hr.
It's difficult to drive in Malaysia (not talking bout the highway) cos those markings on the road are blurred. On top of tt, there were plenty of reckless and impatient drivers around. Bt okie la, managed to survive ( of cos!). Haha~
Bt now i truely realized it is better to be a passenger rather den a driver. Haha~

Crazy with Specs...

I am completely nuts over those Ah-Gong Specs or ANY KIND of weird specs after TW... Haha!

Meet-up with Jason aft my Interview @ AMK... We went to explore Ford Factory & later Japanese Garden... Geez~ The Ford Factory was disappointing cos it looked so new... Bt there isnt anything much to see inside. The exhibits are all bout' WWII's stuff which we all know what had happened ever since our Social Studies/History Days.

i can still see my dark circles.. sigh~ cos cant sleep the night b4..
need more eye masks!!!!
NOOO.. Dun tell me it is permanent!!!

Mmm.. Japanese Garden is jus oh well.. a garden lo.. Haha~ Very relaxing la.. And we see lots of squirrels! Haha! And it's funny that whenever Jason opened his mouth to say something, the crows will crow.. HAHA! *Ack.. Ack .. Ack..* Hehe~

Lucky Numbers!

Remember the 'unlucky incident' in my previous post?
Now i know why God made me met it again. Haha!


Okie here's the 2nd part of the story tt i never blogged bout.
So upon seeing it, I immediately looked @ my watch to note the date & time. Cos' i was thinking if this is really fate, den let me see something tt's really proved tt it is fate.


So guess wat?

Time: 12:12


Wow! 1212! My gosh... Bt didnt gave much tot anymore. Bt at night when i was telling the incident to GW, she told me she had encountered something very coincidental tt day too.

(Shall let her have the grace to tell you her story if she wants..)

Anyway tt incident she encountered drove her colleague to buy 4D of another colleague's badge number. That number if i am not wrong is: 0397.


So an idea came across me tt we should watch out whether our numbers will open during the weekends or not. Hahaha! (No! We are not gamblers = did not buy the numbers...)


Guess wat again? Wosh~~~~
MY NUMBER WON THE FIRST PRIZE!

Winning number is 2112 but nevertheless, i am still a winner if i buy IBet. So wow! I guess the encounter is hinting me tt i should buy 4D! Now i know wat God is trying to tell me! Maybe not God but 财神爷! Hahaha! But i didnt buy la.. Nvr played tis kind of thing de.
Bt sad to say, GW's number did not come out on either Sat or Sun. :(


Anyway the following day, I discovered that number is also the date whereby TW's ex-president 阿扁 was been convicted (?) / sued (?): 12/12. Then as i was watching 无间道II, it was also mentioned tt on 12/12, the criminal was being caught after he gave a deadly shot to a sr police.

So the idea is, geez.... maybe 12/12 is not such a good number after all...


I hope it does not have any hidden meanings that will affect me or it.
But 俗话说得好：只要行得正，做的正，就没有什么好怕的。
所以各位要记住喔～ ｡◕‿◕｡

LuCky LuCky ...

I think today is my lucky day! Okie maybe apart from the morn/noon incident...

i'm lucky....

I was on the bus when it passed by someone tt i tot i never see again in my whole life. I was sitting here and it* was standing there. Maybe it's fate, maybe it's a bad omen.. watever it is.. it is really very coincident. It was just tt split second where we met again. Just like those dramas - Where I was sitting on the bus and it* was just waiting there. 擦身而过，原来缘分也只不过如其。Truely dramatic~ The next minute, my MP3 played a song tt's so freaky matched the scene. Geez~ If God is trying to drop hints, i think it is not needed. Cos i already knew there's only 1 possibility and 1 answer. Bt oh well, thanks anyway. ｡◕‿◕｡

Meet my holiday buddy, Christina to shop round' for xmas gifts...
But before tt i went to Esprit to change my hat...

my mei mei hat...

I explained to the sales personnel tt my hat was bought in TW but it was the wrong size & whether i could change or not. At tt time with him, there's another guy whom i tot was a trainee. That sales guy responded he will go & check. Anyway so i waited for quite awhile. Then i saw the trainee guy was holding on to some hats, which i tot one of them was mine. So i approached him to ask him bout it bt when i saw it was not, I blarred out a whole list of sentences in which i dun remember now. Maybe something like, 'oh ok.. so my hat is still with him la.. okok.. thanks..' without waiting for him to speak. Haha~
(okie tt's not the main point)

Anyway so i go back to my corner to cont' waiting. Then tt guy came over & started asking me bout the 2 hats he had in his hands. Initially i tot he was asking whether it's my hat or not. Then i was like, 'no, no, no..'. Then he was like, ' 我知道！' (He was like very pek chek le~ lol). Then i realized he was asking me which one is nicer! Hahaha~ So i try them on for him to see n stuff. Then he said, maybe ur one seems nicer.

Just then the sales guy returned & he told me the bad news tt i cant exchange cos Sg has limited stocks n stuff. Bt he could help me liase with TW. I was so damm disappointed! Bt oh oh! Then tt Chinese guy suddenly said, 'I will buy S and give it to you and you can give me M lo~' Whew!!!!! So so so so so so so HAPPY!!!

Save my troubles lo! May need to pay for freight charges and stuff lei! He is my 贵人. I was so happy & i think the sales guy can feel my happiness too! Cos he was smiling at me all the time! Hahahaha~ Bt bad news is! Sg sell the hat for $29.90... I bought it for NT640 = S$32...
:( Nvm la.. am still happy nonetheless! HOHOHO~

Then we went to PageOne. I spotted an interesting book called '在50岁做的事情' or something like tt. I was reading the title aloud den i spotted this middle-aged guy beside me was smiling at me. We were like is it so funny? Den we spotted another book tt's called, 'Will You Marry Me?'. Christina commented tt lucky i never read tt title out aloud else tt guy will be shocked. Then the guy joined in our conversation & started to talk bout sometimes it is necessary to buy this kind of book to use as reference.

Anyway, we walked away after the short conversation. Bt just when we are walking out of the store, tt guy saw us. He was walking infront actually. He suddenly turned back, smiled a very wide smile and waved happily at us. Or rather Christina said he was waving at me. I was abit shocked cos no stranger will wave like tt to another stranger. Haha~ And he look kinda 'gay' too.. Maybe cos he wore an ear stud? Haha~ Anyway i waved back and i can see him looking back at me with tt big smile.. A bit freaky.. LOL~
Bt oh well i am used to all these le... :P
Cos' I'm always the one who encountered this kind of stuff..

So today is my Happy day! Cos of the hat! Hahaha~
And i did enjoy my outing with Christina!
